Today I am joined by Aimée Thorne, and up and coming comedian from Auckland becoming known for her dark comedy. She's a part of the "Weird, Dark & Scandalous" crew, a comedy show for deviants, weirdos, outcasts, metalheads, geeks, and anybody who’s ever felt like they don’t quite fit in". Definitely get along to one of these shows if you see it being advertised! Aimée is a big fan of true crime and so I wanted to pick her brain a bit and see why people find true crime so fascinating, we also talk about a book called The Gift of Fear by Gavin de Becker and we talk about a few prominent NZ true crime cases. As you can expect this episode deals with some dark and potentially disturbing subject matter so please be aware of this when you listen, I won't hold it against you if you skip it!
